1. GSP ROADWAY AND INTERCHANGE 145 TOLL PLAZA

IMPROVEMENTS:

• Provide a two-lane entrance ramp from the Interchange 145 Toll Plaza to GSP Southbound
• Widen GSP northbound to re‐establish a two-lane deceleration lane to the Interchange 145 Toll Plaza
• Remove exiting Toll Plaza at Interchange 145
• Minimize construction impacts on both the GSP and the local roadway network
• Complete all work on the GSP within the existing right‐of‐way

CONSTRUCTION:

• Construction work to be performed in three (3) stages
• Temporary traffic shifts within the Toll Plaza will be utilized to facilitate the work
• Work to begin on or about July 16, 2018

September 21, 2018

• The Garden State Parkway implemented "One-Way Tolling" at Interchange 145. The northbound GSP exit toll at Interchange 145 has been eliminated and the entrance toll has increased.

• During the week of 09/24/18, southbound GSP roadway travel lanes will be shifted towards the median and a work zone will be created on the right shoulder immediately north of Interchange 145 (milepost 147.5). This work will be supported by State Police.

• During the week of 10/08/18, northbound GSP roadway travel lanes will be shifted towards the median and a work zone will be created on the right shoulder immediately south of Interchange 145 (milepost 146.5). This work will be supported by State Police.

September 14, 2018

• The Garden State Parkway implemented "One-Way Tolling" at Interchange 145. The northbound GSP exit toll at Interchange 145 has been eliminated and the entrance toll has increased.

• Exiting Toll Plaza reconstruction continues.

• During the week of 09/17/18, roadway paving work will continue within the exiting toll plaza area. Temporary ramp detours will be utilized nightly to facilitate this work. This work will be supported by State Police.

• During the week of 09/17/18, southbound GSP roadway travel lanes will be shifted towards the median and a work zone will be created on the right shoulder immediately north of Interchange 145. This work will be supported by State Police.
