Location Highlights
STRUCTURE NO. 149.7: GSP UNDER MONTGOMERY STREET
IMPROVEMENTS:
- Reconstruction of deck, sidewalks, parapets and lighting
- Roadway milling and resurfacing of Montgomery Street at both bridge approaches
- Sidewalk, curb, handicap ramp and traffic striping of Montgomery Street
CONSTRUCTION:
- Construction work to be performed in three (3) stages
- Temporary traffic shifts will be utilized to facilitate the work
- Work to begin on or about January 2019
Location Updates
September 27, 2019
- Northbound Garden State Parkway has been shifted right at Montgomery Street, Milepost 149.7, and a work zone created on the left for bridge related work.
- During the week of 09/30/19, nighttime lane closures will be performed on southbound Garden State Parkway near Montgomery Street, Milepost 149.7, for bridge related work. Work will be supported by State Police.
September 20, 2019
- Montgomery Street was restored to two-way traffic on 09/06/19.
- Northbound Garden State Parkway has been shifted right at Montgomery Street, Milepost 149.7, and a work zone created on the left for bridge related work.
