GSP ROADWAY AND INTERCHANGE 145 TOLL PLAZA

The Garden State Parkway implemented “One-Way Tolling” at Interchange 145. The northbound GSP exit toll at Interchange 145 has been eliminated and the entrance toll has increased.
A new work zone has been created on the left side of Interchange 145 entrance ramp to southbound Garden State Parkway, including the southbound Garden State Parkway right side at Milepost 146.7 for retaining wall construction.
Northbound Garden State Parkway traffic has been restored to its original alignment with three (3) through lanes, between Milepost 145.9 and Milepost 146.8 (Interchange 145) in East Orange and the addition of a second exit lane into Interchange 145.
During the weeks of 11/01/21 through 11/22/21, nighttime lane closures will be utilized on northbound and southbound Garden State Parkway between Milepost 144 (Springfield Avenue) and Milepost 147 (Interchange 145) for roadway reconstruction work. Work will be supported by State Police.

REPLACEMENT OF CENTRAL AVENUE OVERPASS

Central Avenue traffic has been restored to its original configuration and all work zones removed. All travel lanes and turn lanes have been re-opened over the bridge. Eastbound and westbound left turns at Oraton Parkway and Whittlesey Avenue are restored.
No work planned.

ORATON PARKWAY IMPROVEMENTS

STRUCTURE NO. 144.7: GSP UNDER CLINTON AND SPRINGFIELD AVENUES

New work zones have been created in the Garden State Parkway median at Springfield Avenue, Milepost 144.7, for bridge related work.
During the weeks of 11/01/21 through 11/22/21, nighttime lane closures will be utilized on northbound and southbound Garden State Parkway between Milepost 144 (Springfield Avenue) and Milepost 147 (Interchange 145) for roadway reconstruction work. Work will be supported by State Police.

STRUCTURE NO. 146.0: GSP OVER 14TH AVENUE

STRUCTURE NO. 146.1: GSP OVER SOUTH ORANGE AVENUE

STRUCTURE NO. 149.7: GSP UNDER MONTGOMERY STREET

STRUCTURE NO. 151.6: GSP UNDER EAST PASSAIC AVENUE (CR 562)
