GSP ROADWAY AND INTERCHANGE 145 TOLL PLAZA
- During the week of 07/16/18, initial site preparations will be performed during the day and at night in the northbound exiting Toll Plaza area in advance of the Toll Booth removal and plaza pavement reconstruction. Nighttime lane closures will be utilized for this work. Minor traffic impacts are expected. Work will be supported by State Police as necessary.
- On or about 07/23/18, the Garden State Parkway will implement “One-Way Tolling” at Interchange 145. The northbound GSP exit toll at Interchange 145 will be eliminated and the entrance toll will double.
- During the weeks of 07/23/18 and 07/30/18, traffic exiting the northbound GSP at Interchange 145 will be shifted to the left of the plaza to accommodate Toll Booth removal work and plaza pavement reconstruction. The work to remove the Toll Plaza and reconstruct the pavement will be performed 24-hours a day, 7 days a week for two weeks. Vehicles will pass through the two left toll lanes without paying a toll.
REPLACEMENT OF CENTRAL AVENUE OVERPASS
- No work planned.
ORATON PARKWAY IMPROVEMENTS
- During the evening of 07/23/18, pavement striping work will be performed at various locations on northbound and southbound Oraton Parkway between Central Avenue and Park Avenue. Minor traffic impacts are expected. Work will be supported by East Orange Police.
